Remote Sensing Engineer_Aerospace - JN-102022-5792369

We are looking for a Remote Sensing engineer to join an agile and innovative team of multidisciplinary consultants working for our client, the European Space Agency.

As a member of this team you will provide Scientific and Engineering support to the EOP-SD and Phi-Lab Divisions of ESA/ESRIN.

You will be exposed to leading technologies in Earth Observation from Space, continuously developing and maintaining your own expertise. You will also be in direct contact with European Industry and be involved in the International Cooperation context.

Your tasks will include:

• Review and technical evaluation of proposals and project deliverables
• Discuss project goals, requirements or methodologies with colleagues or team members
• Provision of technical specifications and inputs for new research and application projects
• Follow up of daily activities on research and application projects in the EOP-SD and Phi-lab divisions
• Implementation of technical actions on ESA
• Validation of technical capabilities
• Technical support to ESA-organised events and demonstrations
• Provision of technical inputs for contributions to conferences, workshops and communications
• Technical support in liaison with external bodies (eg GEO, CEOS, OGC..)
